As part of the opening of the Art Week Los Cabos a photographic exhibition was set up on the perimetral fence of the Nabor García Aguirre Cultural Pavilion in the Cabo San Lucas delegation, as announced by the General Director of the Institute of Culture and Arts, Xóchitl Calafia Pozo

She pointed out that the work exhibition is carried out in coordination with the Center for the Arts of the municipality of Tecate, featuring 8 works by regional artists from that municipality, along with 5 artists from Los Cabos: Alberto Padilla, Gabriel Fonseca, Ana Sofía Chil, Donaldo Castillo and Alfredo Ochoa. The exhibition will be taken to Tecate at a future point, explained Ms. Calafia Pozo.

On the other hand, she explained that due to an increase in Covid-19 cases, many of the activities had to change modality. Find out details on Facebook: Instituto de la Cultura y las Artes del Municipio de Los Cabos.

The official said that since the municipality of Los Cabos passed to Phase 4 of the Baja California Sur Health Alert System, the artists’ presentations will be carried out through digital platforms, in order not to generate crowdings and avoid an increase in the number of infections.

Finally, the general director of the Institute of Culture and the Arts in Los Cabos invited citizens to follow the publications of the Facebook page: Institute of Culture and the Arts of the Municipality of Los Cabos, where they will be reporting in detail the broadcasting schedules of the Art Week events.
