Cozumel will experience a 3% increase in arrivals and a 29% increase in passengers, according to the Integral Port Administration (Apiqroo).

In 2022, 1,117 cruise ships carrying 2,943,760 passengers from five major companies registered arrivals in Cozumel.

3,802,527 passengers and 1,153 arrivals are anticipated for this year. 487 arrivals totaling more than 1.5 million passengers between January and April of 2023 show that expectations will be met.

January through April 2022 and 2023 are compared, and the results show a 13% increase in arrivals and an 89% increase in passengers at Cozumel.

On the other hand, there were 498,587 crew members and 1,026,531 visitors in Mahahual last year. 135 cruises were documented in this same location from January to March, and 34 cruise ships arrived in April.
