Two more locations will be included as part of the upgrade, one of which is Tulum, Mexico. According to the airline, Air Canada is the first in Canada to provide flights from Toronto and Montreal to Tulum.

“Tulum, Mexico, from our hubs in Toronto and Montreal, and Charleston, South Carolina, from Toronto, along with new flights to Austin and St. Louis from Montreal in the summer of 2024, are exciting additions to our global network.

According to Mark Galardo, Executive Vice President, Revenue and Network Planning at Air Canada, “These new destinations and routes reflect Air Canada’s market leadership and network diversification strategy of adding capacity to in-demand leisure destinations like Tulum and fast-growing, key metropolitan areas in the US.”

The Toronto-Tulum route will star operating  May 3, 2024 while the Montreal-Tulum routes is set to begin on May 4, 2024. Tickets for both routes are already on sale.
