Cancun named Best Caribbean Destination

Javier Aranda, Director of the Quintana Roo Tourism Promotion Council, had the honor of learning that Cancun had been named the Best Caribbean Destination by the magazine Travel & Tourism during the 2023 Feria de las Américas in Rio de Janeiro.

Travel agents, destination representations, tourist attractions, event venues, hotels, media outlets, online travel agencies, and many others congregate at this fair to learn about new products, launch them, establish business relationships, and change global tourism trends.

The magazine Viagem e Turismo has been honoring destinations and service providers who provide tourists with high standards of quality and memorable experiences for many years.

“Our commitment is to provide the best possible tourist experience and the broad range of accommodations and activities that we are able to offer in Cancun and our other destinations, with the goal of attracting not only recognition but also tourists who are interested in learning more about all that Cancun and, of course, Quintana Roo have to offer,” Aranda concluded.

The state of Quintana Roo anticipates a prosperous future for the industry, solidifying its position as the world’s undisputed leader in the travel and tourism sector.
