Cancun has new ATV fleet ready for winter season
December 26, 2023
In anticipation of the arrival of 1.6 million guests over the holiday season, Cancun officers have been equipped with brand-new ATVs. The eight additional units, which will be used for beach security and monitoring, came at a cost of 3.9 million pesos to the government.
The units have excellent power, speed, and traction when moving through weeds and sandy regions. They will be put to use for security along the twenty-five kilometers of Cancun shoreline, especially in the hotel zone.
The State Government provided the municipality of Benito Juárez with a fleet of cars in June of this year. This new fleet of vehicles has been added by the Municipal Government.
With over 1.6 million tourists anticipated throughout the holiday season, these units support the work being done to provide peace and calm to people living and visiting Quintana Roo.
