More than 40 countries will participate in the “Cancun World Fest 2023. Discover the world in one place”, the first fair of its kind to be held from September 29th to October 1st in this city. It will feature gastronomic and cultural samples as well as information exchange to draw more events and diversify the city’s tourism industry.

This was announced this morning by Juan Pablo de Zulueta, Benito Juarez’s secretary of tourism, who noted that this fantastic festival will take place on September 27th, International Tourism Day, which is observed annually.

In a brief interview, the municipal official stressed that this festival will present a fantastic opportunity “to know, listen and share experiences, projects and strategies to strengthen the tourism industry”.

In this way, he suggested that this international event had already been pitched to all the ambassadorial representatives with the aim of turning the location into a gathering place where important nations will present their tourism products.

According to the official, diplomats from nations including Chile, Germany, Portugal, Nigeria, and others will attend this event, which will take place at the Malecón Tajamar.

He also said that through this festival, the organization would work to bring major sporting and cultural events to Cancun, which would have a significant positive impact on the local economy.
