About 40% of the Tulum International Airport is finished. The update was given on Monday by Ricardo Vallejo Suárez, who oversees the team of military engineers under the Ministry of National Defense (Sedena).

He claims that there has been a physical improvement of about 40%. “Here, there are ten organized construction fronts. On the runway, the taxiway platforms, and the roads, we are currently pouring concrete.”

With regard to the upcoming Felipe Carrillo Puerto International Airport in Tulum, he stated, “We are also assembling a metal structure in the passenger terminal building, in the various hangars, and the fuel terminal.”

Construction on the Tulum International Airport is 40% complete with 10 projects.

He said that the electrical infrastructure to link the complex to the national electrical network and the air traffic control tower’s shaft are already built. The various buildings of the airport complex’s structures, masonry, and installations are currently being worked on.
