Costa Mujeres keeps the highest occupancy in Quintana Roo

According to reports, Costa Mujeres is the state’s busiest tourist destination, with hotel occupancy levels exceeding 80%. Isla Mujeres Mayor Atenea Gómez Ricalde released the statistics on Monday in accordance with the Secretary of Tourism.

According to Ricalde, the Quintana Roo Secretary of Tourism (Sedetur) said that Costa Mujeres closed the first half of July with an occupancy rate of 83.8 percent, maintaining its position as the state’s hotel occupancy leader.

She claims that the municipality of Isla Mujeres has maintained its top ranking in the Mexican Caribbean for more than six months based on the latest statistics.

The second busiest destination in the state has been Cancun with a 77.6 percent occupancy rate followed by the insular area (the island) of Isla Mujeres, which closed the week with 77 percent.
