Delta Airlines to fly Atlanta – Tulum direct in 2024

Delta Airlines has just announced that they will be the first US airline to offer flights to Tulum. Tulum has always been a popular vacation spot for Americans, but getting there hasn’t always been easy. However, starting from March 28, 2024, Delta will be operating daily flights from Atlanta to Tulum International Airport.

The new route will be serviced by a Boeing 737-800, which offers a comfortable flying experience with first-class recliners, extra-legroom Comfort+ seats, and standard economy seats. This means you can sit back and relax while you make your way to this beautiful destination.

In the past, many travelers would fly to Cancun and then drive to Tulum. While Cancun has great connectivity with major US cities, the drive to Tulum hasn’t always been the most enjoyable part of the journey. Private transfers can be expensive and add extra travel time.

But now, with Delta’s new route, you can fly directly to Tulum without any hassle. No more long drives or additional costs. Delta’s announcement is especially exciting because Tulum didn’t have an airport before, so this opens up a whole new world of possibilities for travelers.

And Delta Airlines isn’t the only one recognizing the potential of Tulum. Aeromexico and Viva Aerobus, two of Mexico’s largest carriers, have also announced their plans to serve Tulum with domestic routes starting in December. This means more options and flexibility for travelers looking to explore this amazing destination.
