The CEO of Grupo Iberostar, Miguel Fluxá, and the vice-president, Sabina Fluxá, plan to increase sustainable investment in Cancun and improve housing conditions for their workers, as they reviewed future initiatives in a meeting they held with the governor of Quintana Roo, Mara Lezama.

The top executives of the Spanish hotel chain and the governor emphasized the confidence in investment with sustainable development that will allow for greater employment and tourism growth, including the promotion of the communities of the Mayan zone through the hotel infrastructure.

Iberostar agreed with the governor on the importance of investment that allows shared prosperity; for this reason they promote projects that allow better housing conditions for their workers, as well as investments with full respect for the environment.
