Beginning in early 2024, a new low-cost airline will offer flights into Cancun International. The extremely cheap airline Lynx Air (Lynx), based in Canada, has announced its entry into Mexico, offering service between Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) and Cancun International Airport (CUN).

Lynx will begin service to Cancun, Mexico, on February 15, 2024, with flights departing from Toronto. In its expanding network, Lynx will now operate in three countries, with Cancun serving as its 18th destination.

The goal of Canada’s top ultra-affordable airline, which launched its inaugural flight in 2022, is to encourage more Canadians to take to the skies by providing an excellent flying experience at an incredibly low cost.

“We are aware that Canadians enjoy visiting the south in pursuit of milder temperatures and sandy beaches as winter draws near.” According to Lynx’s Chief Commercial Officer, Vijay Bathija, “We are delighted to be offering an incredibly affordable option to Cancun, one of the most popular sun destinations in Mexico.”

There is still a huge demand for Cancun from travelers arriving at Toronto Pearson. With Lynx’s new service, travelers will have another way to get to Mexico’s bright beaches by air.
