New Maya Train travel dates now open

The current online e-Ticket system now includes three extra Maya Train travel days. Tren Maya’s General Director, Oscar David Lozano Águila, declared on Monday that tickets for more travel dates are now on sale.

Because of the increased demand, three more dates were added. He said that interested tourists to Tren Maya can now buy e-Tickets for travel on December 17, 18, and 19. The San Francisco, Campeche to Cancun, Quintana Roo route still uses these dates.

He added that the airports in Cancun and Mérida will host sales kiosks for the local populace as part of this initiative to increase ticket sales.

General Lozano Águila clarified that ticket sales for tested convoys are now open. More tickets will be up for public sale as more trains are put through testing. He claims that 231 people can travel on each train.
