The Secretary of Tourism of Quintana Roo, Bernardo Cueto Riestra, emphasized that the new Tourism Law will help strengthen the tourism industry in the state.

The law seeks to implement tourism regulation measures, regulation of digital lodging platforms, and the collaboration of the sector in the prevention of child sexual abuse, an issue of great relevance. In addition, it will strengthen the State Tourism Registry and the tourism information system to provide greater certainty and confidence to visitors.

Cueto Riestra emphasized that the new Tourism Law is innovative and could become a model at the national level, supporting Quintana Roo’s goal of providing exceptional attention to visitors.
