Over 14 million visitors recorded at Cancun International so far this year

More than 14 million passengers have flown into Cancun International already this year. More than 2.6 million of those visitors arrived in May.

An extraordinary summer vacation season can be predicted thanks to the 14 million people who arrived in the first five months of the year.

The Cancun International Airport’s managing company, Grupo Aeroportuario del Sureste (ASUR), reported that 2,626,821 passengers used the airport in May alone, a 6.6 percent increase over the same month in 2022.

The promotion of all the tourist destinations in the state of Quintana Roo, with a variety of products that complement one another, is bringing tourists in droves to all the locations. Quintana Roo’s cultural diversity, historical significance, and natural splendors continue to draw tourists from all over the world.
