Riviera Maya: new luxury branded hotel with 180 suites coming this summer

The luxury hotel chain Edition has chosen Riviera Maya as its initial Mexican location. The 180 guest rooms and 180 suites at Edition Kanai Riviera Maya are expected to debut in the summer of 2023.

The London brand will be located on the waterfront within the Kanai complex. It will offer six food and beverage outlets, including a restaurant, pool bar, and beach club, as well as a spa and a luxurious 206-square-meter penthouse suite. It will also have extensive event venues.

By 2027, EDITION expects to have 30 hotels in its portfolio worldwide. Currently operating 15 hotels, Edition has plans to open five more by 2023, in cities like Rome, Singapore, and Jeddah, as well as a second hotel in Tokyo’s Ginza.

The St. Regis is one of the hotels that will be a part of the Kanai Resort complex, which will have four hotels of the most prestigious brands as well as a beach club. This development is located on the Cancun-Tulum federal highway in Quintana Roo.
