Sunwing to resume direct flights from Kelowna to Cancun

British Columbia-bound flights to Cancun and Mazatlán from Sunwing Airlines have been announced for December. On December 15, direct flights from Kelowna to Cancun will be available to Okanagan residents.

By adding weekly direct flights to Mexico from Kelowna International Airport this winter, the airline claims to improve connectivity for Okanagan people.

From December 15, 2022, through April 13, 2023, the airline will operate weekly flights from Kelowna to Cancun on Thursdays, and weekly flights from Kelowna to Mazatlán on Fridays, from December 16, 2022, through April 14, 2023.

According to Sam Samaddar, director of Kelowna International Airport, “We are very thrilled to have Sunwing return to Kelowna International Airport and once again provide Okanagan people with direct flights to sunny destinations like Cancun and Mazatlan.”
