Tulum and Valladolid to create Magic Town circuit

The Tulum Tourism Promotion Council has formed an alliance with the business sector of Valladolid to establish a circuit of Magical Towns.

The objective of this circuit is to promote domestic tourism and increase its visibility through media. Mario Cruz Rodríguez, President of the Tulum Tourism Promotion Council, has met with the Valladolid Hotel Association to exchange destination promotion strategies and strengthen the local economy.

The idea is to offer tourists the option of visiting both destinations with a cultural and natural vocation, as well as integrating other Magical Towns such as San Miguel de Allende (Cozumel).

The council is promoting strategic alliances with other destinations such as Pueblos Mágicos (Magic Towns) to work together and share tourism strategies. The aim is to create synergy and capitalize on national tourism, which the country needs.

The Tulum International Airport, when operational, will be closer to Valladolid than the airport terminals of Merida and Cancun, enhancing connectivity with the Maya Train project.

This will increase the average length of stay in each tourist destination by complementing the sun and beach destination with a cultural experience.
