Turkish Airlines increases Istanbul flights into Cancun starting November
October 24, 2022
Turkish Airlines reports that beginning November 1, they will expand their Istanbul-Mexico City-Cancun route. The airline, which presently operates seven flights a week, announced that starting the following week, it will operate 11 flights on the route.
The rise in flights is a result of more travelers heading to the Mexican Caribbean. This statement was reinforced by Quintana Roo’s governor, Mara Lezama, who saw it as part of a reaffirmation of the state’s position as a global leader in tourism.
