World2Fly launches new Lisbon to Cancun route

World2Fly has started offering nonstop service between Cancun and Lisbon in Portugal. The leisure airline will run the direct nonstop flight once per week during the summer.

Flight 3P 2151, an Airbus A350 operated by World2Fly, launched the new route on April 30 at 18:59 local time after departing from Humberto Delgado Airport at 15:06 local time.

Bruno Figueroa, the Mexican ambassador to Portugal, Duarte Correia, the country manager of W2M WORLD 2 MEET, Francisco Pita, the commercial director of ANA – Aeroportos de Portugal, SA, and Newblue employees were at the Lisbon airport to celebrate the inaugural flight.

A flight from Lisbon to Cancun (3P 2151 LIS 14:25 – CUN 18:30 Sunday) and a flight from Cancun to Lisbon (3P 2152 CUN 20:30 – LIS 11:40+1 Sunday) are both included in the new schedule.

The Airbus A350-900, which can accommodate 432 passengers in a single economy class, is used to operate this route. Additionally, nonstop flights are provided by the leisure airline between Madrid and Cancun.

World2Fly Director of Flight Operations Miguel Freitas Simes said,
