The Government of Baja California Sur participates, along with the Tourism Promotion Trusts of La Paz and Los Cabos, in the Madrid Tourism Fair, in Spain, one of the most important events in the industry as a platform for the promotion of Baja California Sur’s tourism destinations and the celebration of business appointments.

Baja California Sur is present with the beauty of its tourist destinations and 16 representatives of the industry in the state who have business appointments. FITUR is expected to attract more than 120,000 industry professionals and between 80,000 and 90,000 visitors during the weekend of the fair.

State representatives met with the Avoris group to discuss the Iberojet Madrid – Los Cabos flight, which will begin in the summer of 2023 and run from June to September. They also agreed on a permanent promotional campaign with the Mexican Embassy in Spain to highlight the exquisite gastronomy, culture, and missionary history in order to diversify the offer to visitors so that they can live these experiences when they visit La Paz, Loreto, Comondú, and Mulegé, given that the average stay in this market is one week.
