Iconic La Perla Hotel to reopen in La Paz

The hospitality crown jewel of La Paz is about to be renovated.

The renowned Hotel Perla in La Paz will reopen to visitors in November, bringing with it a sense of the old-time traditional La Paz style.

The storied Hotel Perla Hotel in La Paz will reopen following a $200 million peso ($10 million) multi-year renovation. La Paz will transport you to a bygone era when it was just a sleepy little Mexican beachside town thanks to its 90 rooms.

One of the oldest hotels in the area is situated in the boardwalk’s golden zone. While honoring the La Paz tradition as it is, it will also incorporate some new contemporary elements.

The hotel’s redeveloper, Hamak Hotels, is first reducing the number of rooms from 110 to 90 to give it a more quaint, boutique beachside resort feel.

Additionally, it will have a sizable gym, an infinity pool terrace, a spa area for hotel visitors, and a second-floor restaurant with breathtaking ocean views.

La Perla will continue to have the same art deco aesthetic as the hotel and its boardwalk entrance.
