Mauricio Salicrup, President of the Hotel Association, expressed his satisfaction with the positive results of the destination’s tourism promotion efforts. He also emphasized that the Tourism Trust (FITURCA) continues to fulfill its main objective, which is to generate connectivity to attract profitable flights.

We are very happy and very satisfied that this new route is opening, that there is nothing more than thinking that people from Las Vegas will come. The connectivity that Las Vegas has through this new flight to Los Cabos; the proof that this is going to be a success is precisely that it arrived with all seats filled. The main objective of the Los Cabos Tourism Trust, which was to improve the connectivity of the destination with routes that are really profitable, continues to be fulfilled.

In addition, Salicrup noted his satisfaction with the positive results of tourism promotion in the municipality of Los Cabos.

We have several indicators that give us the guideline that a good job is being done, we received an award in New York that the destination had not received in 21 years, where travel agents from all over the United States make the reference and are the ones who voted for the destination.

By the end of 2023, Los Cabos will have more than 50 direct flights to destinations such as the United States, Canada, Mexico and Spain. This connectivity network positions Los Cabos as the nation’s third largest destination in terms of international tourist arrivals.
