The government of Los Cabos announced that it will work on the elaboration of a municipal Tianguis regulation along with the possibility of purchasing a space in a plaza for artisans, which would also free up tourist zones.

“We are Los Cabos government to build a space for artisans, free up tourist zoneswith people so that our artisans can sell their products there without having to hide from the authorities,” explained the municipal president, Oscar Leggs.

He also specified that the plan is to have a large space that can receive all the necessary personalities to develop the cultural themes and attract more travelers.

“It would be a large piece of land where the old trailer park used to be and for which we are already preparing the papers to build a forum in the center for cultural activities and to attract more tourism,” he explained.

On the other hand, he assured that he has the duty to regulate and punish economic activities on public roads that do not have the appropriate permits, although he clarified that for the same reason, he will try to open a space for artisan vendors.
