September 22, 2023
The European Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE), known as Blue Flag, has once again awarded the Paradissus Meliá Hotel Complex, located in the Tourist Corridor, with the eponymous award, renewing its recognition for another consecutive year.
The responsibility for maintaining the beach in optimal conditions falls entirely on the resort, which highlights the collaboration of all its employees in this arduous work. Erika Patlán Campas, manager of the hotel, stressed the importance of having a certified beach, as it reinforces the commitment to both the local community and the guests, highlighting the importance of keeping the beaches clean and taking measures to benefit the natural environment of the tourist destination.
Diego Diaz Hernandez, Director of Operations and Finance for FEE Mexico, emphasized that sustainability is not just a global trend, but an essential commitment to preserving the environment.
Los Cabos is the leading destination in Mexico and Latin America in terms of Blue Flag awards, with an impressive 25 certified beaches.
