Los Cabos named Best Destination in Mexico

The Los Cabos Tourism Board (Fiturca) announced that the destination has been named “Best Destination” in Mexico for the first time.

The award was presented at the twenty-first edition of Travel Weekly’s Readers Choice Awards and was accepted by Rodrigo Esponda, director of Fiturca.

The gala ceremony took place on December 13th at the American Museum of Natural History in New York. It represents a significant step forward for Los Cabos in its development as an elite tourism destination.

“This year, Travel Weekly, a benchmark for travel industry professionals, has highlighted Los Cabos against other important destinations in Mexico,” said Fiturca in a press release.

In addition to the merit received in Travel Weekly’s Readers Choice Awards, Los Cabos has been named a winner in Travel + Leisure’s 50 Best Places to Travel in 2024.

Los Cabos also received 18 other awards this year. These include Best Sustainable Destination in Mexico, Best Destination Marketing Campaign Worldwide and Top Destination for Customer Satisfaction in Mexico.
