Los Cabos restaurant receives the Five Diamonds Award
October 14, 2022
The American Automobile Association (AAA) awarded the Five Diamonds Award to Edith’s Group for its high-quality hospitality and service in the restaurant industry.
This association was founded in the state of California, and each year rates the best in the tourism industry. The main points to consider in order to be awarded this distinction is to comply with the requirements requested of each of the restaurants, hotels and spas.
Edith’s Group, which is headed by Edith Jiménez Moreno, acknowledged that, despite this distinction, there is still a long way to go in the destination in relation to the experiences offered to tourists.
We have already received this type of recognition at Edith’s restaurant; it is the one that leads the way in terms of recognitions of this type. At Tres Sirenas restaurant, this is the second time we are receiving this award. For us this represents a lot in our spirit. We know we still have a long way to go; we want to increase our qualifications in terms of service, gastronomy, dishes and flavors.
For Edith, it is important that more restaurants in the destination are recognized. From her perspective, the municipality of Cabo is a tourist center with a gastronomy so special that it distinguishes it from other tourist centers.
Currently, only 121 hotels and restaurants in Mexico have a 5 diamond certification, which means that less than 1% of the inspected hotels receive this important award.
Esperanza An Auberge Resort, Montage Los Cabos, Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal, Grand Velas Los Cabos, Las Ventanas al Paraíso, and A Rosewood Resort One & Only Palmilla are the seven properties in Los Cabos that have received the highest degree of service quality certification.
