By 2024, Los Cabos will begin its expansion in tourism development with the goal of reaching a total of 21,000 rooms in the next two years. According to the Los Cabos Hotel Association, 800 new rooms are expected to be added by 2024 from luxury brands such as Four Seasons, St. Regis and Park Hyatt. These rooms will have an average rate of $1,400 per night.

The growth of tourism development in Los Cabos has been organic, aimed at attracting visitors seeking distinctive experiences. Luxury brands are not only looking to increase economic revenue in the destination but are also looking to create sustainable resorts that are in line with the sustainable development of the region.

According to the Los Cabos Hotel Association, the destination has maintained an average occupancy rate between 69% and 70% in recent years. In this context, it is expected that the year 2023 will not be an exception, as it is projected to maintain this occupancy level.
