Los Cabos to host its first PGA Tour championship in 2023

Los Cabos will host the 2023 World Wide Technology Championship as part of the PGA TOUR, the world’s premier golf circuit.

In the fall of 2023, El Cardonal Golf Course, located within the Diamante development in Cabo San Lucas and designed by 82-time PGA TOUR winner Tiger Woods, will host 132 professional golfers, their families, sports fans, media and incredible worldwide exposure.

Officials from the City of Los Cabos and the Los Cabos Hotel Association met with Tournament Director Joe Mazzeo.

During the meeting, Mazzeo announced that the economic impact of the event on the destination will be more than $24 million directly through the organizers and those who come to the event, including production and sponsors.

In addition, Los Cabos will benefit from all the international exposure the championship will have.
