A new direct flight between Los Cabos and Torreon has been announced by the Los Cabos Tourism Trust, the Ministry of Tourism and Economy (Setue), and Viva Aerobus. This flight will begin operations on July 3rd, with two weekly flights. The flight will depart from Los Cabos International Airport at 2:50 p.m. and arrive at Torreon Francisco Sarabia International Airport at 5:15 p.m.

This announcement comes on top of other new routes launched by Viva Aerobus from Los Cabos, including flights to Ciudad Juarez, Queretaro, Toluca, and Cancun, as well as flights from La Paz to Mazatlan. The airline operates these new direct connections, which help to strengthen the destination’s connectivity.

According to the Los Cabos Tourism Trust, Viva Aerobus has become an important ally in attracting national and international tourists to the region. Extending routes to the domestic market boosts competitiveness and contributes to Los Cabos’ economic and tourism development.

Viva Aerobus expects to operate more than 860 flights per month in Baja California Sur in the coming years, offering more than 1.7 million seats per year to passengers who wish to visit the destination.

Viva Aerobus currently operates 14 routes in Baja California Sur, with stops in Culiacan, Guadalajara, Mazatlan, Cancun, Mexico City, Ciudad Juarez, Queretaro, Hermosillo, Monterrey, Tijuana, Toluca, and Torreon.
