New Los Cabos-Cancun flight officially announced

The Baja California Sur Ministry of Tourism and Economy (SETUE) officially announced the direct flight Los Cabos-Cancun on social media.

Viva Aerobus, a low-cost airline, will be in charge of connecting the state with the Quintana Roo peninsula. The aircraft will have a capacity of 186 seats, a daily frequency, and a round-trip fare of approximately 3,500 pesos. The flight will take off on Thursday, May 18, 2023.

The flight time is estimated to be 5 hours, with a stopover of approximately 50 minutes at the “Licenciado Adolfo López Mateos” International Airport in Toluca, Mexico.

Cancun is the country’s most popular tourist destination, so the new link will help Los Cabos attract visitors from Europe and South America.
