November 18, 2022
A significant influx of tourists is anticipated from Thursday, November 24 to Sunday, November 27, according to Lilzi Orc Fregoso, executive president of the Los Cabos Hotel Association.
“This is a significant day for our destination since our primary market is the American market, and on these days, Americans flock to Los Cabos, where the hotels, of course, prepare the customary Thanksgiving feast for them.”
It is expected that 83% of rooms will be occupied on this day, which equates to almost 30,000 visitors staying in this municipality to take part in the significant celebration.
On Wednesday and Thursday, guests begin to arrive and stay through the weekend. During this peak travel season, this is a financial detonator for the tourism sector.
According to statistics from the Los Cabos Hotel Association, Los Cabos is anticipated to have an occupancy rate of more than 75% by the end of this year. During weekends and the Christmas holidays, hotel occupancy is anticipated to rise by more than 80%.
