Todos Santos to host the Sea of Cortez Magical Towns Festival

The Sea of Cortez Magical Towns Festival will take place this August 5 and 6 in Todos Santos. A gastronomic, artistic, and cultural display will be presented by 22 towns, including Loreto and Santa Rosala.

This is the first year for the festival, which was organized by the states of Baja California, Baja California Sur, Nayarit, Sinaloa, and Sonora, according to Maribel Collins Sánchez, director of the state’s Ministry of Tourism and Economy. According to him, this kind of event aims to boost regional tourism.

The Magical Towns program is a very important national brand that is chosen for the charm and magic that each one has, and this is a great opportunity to show a sample of each of the 22 magical towns that will be present on August 5 and 6, which are those of the five states of the Sea of Cortez Alliance,

The representative emphasized that this will be an itinerant festival, meaning that it will take place in a different town every year. This will enable the promotion of each of the alliance’s member states’ tourism offerings.

The artistic program will be announced on August 2nd, the Secretary of Tourism and Economy concluded. She stated that typical dishes would be offered at reasonable prices for the gastronomic show.
