The new restaurant and hotel brands that have arrived in Los Cabos require trained and qualified personnel to meet the needs of their clients. Gabriel Valladares, president of the Association of Food and Beverage Leaders (F&B) of Los Cabos, has pointed out the importance of having specialized courses to improve the service offered to tourists.

With the goal of training new leaders, the Los Cabos Food and Beverage Leaders Association has created a diploma course called “Building New Leaders”. This program has two modules and lasts eight weeks. During the training, representatives from F&B Los Cabos will deliver specialized knowledge and skills to enable participants to provide quality service to tourists.

Our main participation in the association is to provide training, which is our main area. We have been working for three years since the association was founded, and we have a training course.

The ongoing training of the staff has been fundamental in preventing restaurants and hotels in Los Cabos from having to hire staff from other tourist destinations.

Gabriel Valladares has emphasized the importance of workers in the tourism sector constantly improving their skills in order to advance in their respective companies. To this end, workers need to receive specialized training so that they can provide quality service and meet customer expectations. Thus, the personal and professional growth of employees is promoted, which benefits both them and the companies they work for.
