The World Wide Technology Championship 2023, an annual golf event, has been announced by the PGA Tour. According to Fiturca’s Tourism Observatory, Los Cabos’ golf courses match nearly 100% of tourists’ expectations. The tournament’s director, Joe Mazzeo, emphasized the region’s media and tourism influence.

Golf giants such as Jack Nicklaus, Greg Norman, and Tiger Woods have developed 18 golf courses in Los Cabos. Golf Digest, a famous golf publication, has emphasized that 12 of 16 Mexico’s best golf courses are located in Los Cabos, with four of them ranking among the top 100 in the world. Because of this renown, the PGA Tour chose Los Cabos as the location for a world-class tournament, putting their faith in the region’s golf courses.

The World Wide Technology Championship is expected to earn more than $60 million in economic revenue in its inaugural year, cementing itself as one of the most major sporting events in recent years.
