It will remain parallel and close to the coasts of Nayarit, Jalisco, Colima, Michoacán, and Baja California Sur.
It could approach BCS, but it is still unclear if it will reach the coasts of Los Cabos and La Paz.

⚠️In 24 hours, it could become a tropical depression.
⚠️In 24 to 48 hours, it could develop into a tropical storm.
⚠️It would be named “Kristy.”
🔺It will likely bring moderate to heavy rains, with locally very heavy downpours over Michoacán, Colima, Jalisco, Nayarit, southern Sinaloa, and southern Baja California Sur.

Tropical disturbance 99E was located south of Manzanillo, Colima, moving at 9 km/h toward the west-northwest (290º), parallel to the coasts of Michoacán and Colima. Its organization is still weak, but it is expected to become Tropical Depression “Twelve-E” in the next 24 to 48 hours, and possibly Tropical Storm Kristy soon after.

Disturbance 99E is expected to continue moving parallel and close to the Mexican Pacific coasts and will approach the southern coast of Baja California Sur. At this time, it is not possible to determine if it will reach the coast of Baja California Sur. However, it will bring increased rain and strong storms over the western-northwestern region of Mexico. It remains under close watch.
