Activists in Jalisco protested against vehicle verification and military zone closures after a partial and total blockage of the main street. Jesús García Blake, leader of the National Civil Pacifist Movement, announced contact with the subsecretary general of Internal Affairs of the Jalisco Government. The protesters demanded to remove the gates and removing the obstacles from public works. García Blake confirmed that the results are “viable” for eliminating vehicle verification in Puerto Vallarta. Some drivers showed support for the protest, while others criticized the blockage.
