An American male, whose identity remains undisclosed, passed away at the General Zone Hospital #33 of the IMSS in Bahía de Banderas. He was brought in unconscious after suffering a seizure in police custody. The individual had been detained for causing a disturbance in El Porvenir.
Despite efforts to stabilize him, he succumbed to cardiac arrest shortly after arrival at the hospital. Preliminary medical findings suggest chronic cirrhosis as a possible cause of death. Authorities are investigating the incident as a potential homicide. His body has been transferred to the Forensic Medical Service for further examination.
