According to the National Port System Administration (Asipona) of Puerto Vallarta, in the first quarter of the year almost 223 thousand passengers arrived on 73 international cruise ships, which exceeds the figures of the same period of 2022.

In January of this year, 32 cruise ships arrived with a little more than 90 thousand passengers; in February, there were more than 60 thousand cruise passengers on 19 ships; in March, the Asipona received 72 thousand 537 visitors on 22 ships.

As for 2022, in the first quarter 103,644 passengers were registered on 57 international cruise ships; therefore, the difference between both years is more than 119,300 cruise passengers.

Puerto Vallarta is a 100% tourist port characterized by the high specialization and quality of the services offered to the international cruise ships arriving there.

This month marks the beginning of the low season for international cruise ships in Puerto Vallarta, so there are only 13 arrivals scheduled for May, according to the Asipona calendar.

Of the 13 arrivals, there will be three double arrivals; the first was last Tuesday with the arrival of Navigator of the Seas and Carnival Panorama; on Wednesday, May 3rd, Celebrity Millennium and Radiance of the Seas arrived together.

On Tuesday, May 23, Navigator of the Seas and Carnival Panorama will arrive again, and the remaining arrivals will be from Island Princess.
