Cambridge School Ceremony in Puerto Vallarta

In Puerto Vallarta, the 2024 Cambridge Official Document Ceremony took place on Thursday, September 5, at the UNIRSE facilities. A group of tourism service providers received internationally recognized certificates and diplomas from the University of Cambridge, confirming their specialized training. The event was attended by key figures from the education and tourism sectors, including Ing. Arturo Dávalos Peña from SECTUR Jalisco and Mtro. Alejandro Salcedo Ávila, a representative from Cambridge International Education.

Speakers at the event highlighted the importance of language certifications for improving service quality and professionalizing the tourism sector. Mtro. Miguel Aldrete from the Secretariat of Education emphasized that mastering English is essential for raising service standards in Puerto Vallarta, while Francisco Vizcaíno, president of COPARMEX, stressed that language skills enhance worker professionalism.

This ceremony was part of an ongoing collaboration between CELEX PV Cambridge English Official Preparation Center and various educational and tourism organizations, aiming to improve the skills of Puerto Vallarta’s tourism workforce and elevate the city’s global service standards.
