Puerto Vallarta is entering the low season for international cruise ships, with only 13 arrivals scheduled for the month of May, according to the calendar of the city’s National Port System Administration (ASIPONA).

Of the 13 arrivals scheduled for this destination, there will be three double arrivals: the first was this Tuesday with the arrival of Navigator of the Seas and Carnival Panorama; on Wednesday, May 3, Celebrity Millennium and Radiance of the Seas will arrive together.

On Tuesday, May 23, Navigator of the Seas and Carnival Panorama will arrive again, and the remaining arrivals will be from Island Princess.

On the other hand, the City government of Puerto Vallarta, through the Transit Department, has increased security at the crosswalk in front of the Maritime Terminal, so that visitors can walk safely to the commercial area and downtown.

In the first quarter of the year, Puerto Vallarta received 73 cruise ships, while in 2022 in the same period, there were 57. As for passengers, there are almost 230 thousand from January to March 2023 and last year at this time there were a little more than 103 thousand cruise passengers.
