Unibus in Puerto Vallarta

Luis Romero Chavez, president of the company Transporte Unido Costa Pacifico, announced that public transportation in Puerto Vallarta will be suspended as of 4:00 p.m., for which the population is asked to take extreme precautions.

The businessman commented that the closure at this time will be at the bases of the buses due to indications from the State and Municipal Civil Protection.

He said that buses will be seen circulating because he has been asked for the support of units to move people who are in risk areas near rivers and streams, thus moving people to shelters.

Salvador Beltrán, president of the board of directors of Autotransportes Medina, informed that as of 4:00 p.m. they will reduce the service to 50%, which corresponds to 88 units operating in the bay. Depending on the conditions, it could be reduced to 100%.

The service will be reduced from 20 to 30 minutes in all the routes they operate, in case the Banderas Bay or Puerto Vallarta City Governments request assistance.
