In just two days, cruise ships bring about 40 million pesos to Vallarta

With the arrival of around 17,000 guests from six cruise ships in just two days, Puerto Vallarta generated economic activity of almost 40 million pesos; additionally, there will be three additional cruise ship arrivals this month.

This Wednesday saw a triple arrival for Puerto Vallarta as the Koningsdam cruise ships arrived with 2,518 passengers and 963 staff members. With 4,323 passengers and 1,439 crew members, the Carnival Panorama also arrived. The Norwegian Bliss followed with 4,321 passengers and 1,440 crew members.

These six ships delivered about 17,000 passengers in two days, who enjoyed the destination; some cruise ships departed after 8:00 p.m. to travel to other ports.

The Transit Authority has increased security at the crosswalk outside the Maritime Terminal so that visitors can cross safely and proceed to the commercial district and downtown, according to the Puerto Vallarta National Port System Administration. Both organizations are committed to providing quality services.

The route known as the Mexican Riviera includes Puerto Vallarta, and itineraries often last seven days.
