International Convention Center to host three events in July

July 11, 2023

Mario Javier Barriga Moreno, the director of the Puerto Vallarta International Convention Center, announced that three events will be held there this month, bringing in over 15 million pesos in revenue.

The Jehovah’s Witnesses Assembly, which took place from July 7 to July 9, attracted 5,000 people per day, according to Barriga Moreno. The same gathering will take place on the 14th, 15th, and 16th of this month with a similar turnout. It is crucial to emphasize that it is not accessible to the general public.

The academic event of the Centro de Bachillerato Tecnológico Industrial y de Servicios (CBTis) #68 of Puerto Vallarta, which will take place this Monday with 1,800 attendees and is also closed to the general public, will be another event.

On the other hand, this location will host the Jalisco Secretary of Education’s “ReCrea Familia 2023: Training for Parents” event, which is scheduled for July 12 and is expected to draw 400 attendees. This event is open to the public but requires registration.

It is important to note that the “ReCrea” program is a strategy used by the State of Jalisco’s Ministry of Education to encourage families to participate appropriately in the education of their daughters, sons, or wards while fostering articulation with the educational community.
