Contrary to what popuplar, at the moment there is a lack of  luxury housing inventory in Puerto Vallarta and Banderas Bay due to the growing demand from the foreign community, who are looking to reside or invest here, reported Arelí Aguirre, real estate agent.

The agent said there are currently more than 3,000 units under construction for different types of clients.

The current supply is practically sold out, more supply is required, there is a shortage of finished developments and what predominates is pre-sales.

The expert highlighted that the new vertical housing projects are in high demand by the foreign community, which continues to benefit from investing in Banderas Bay.

In this period of the year, she said, construction is going through a very productive moment.

There are more than 18 new developments that are in the process of being built, decorated or equipped, both in Puerto Vallarta and the Riviera Nayarit.

Regarding the places with the highest search requests from potential buyers, the agent pointed out that these are the so-called Zona Romantica, the 5 de Diciembre neighbourhood, as well as Jarretaderas and Bucerias in Banderas Bay.
