Only five cruise ships to dock in Vallarta in June

June 05, 2023

According to the schedule and statistics provided by the Administration of the National Port System (Asipona) Puerto Vallarta, there will only be 5 cruise ship arrivals during the month of June, including the Carnival Panorama and the Navigator of the Seas, which are expected to carry 23,400 passengers.

The Carnival Panorama will arrive on Tuesday, June 6, as well as on June 13, June 20, and June 20 in tandem with the Navigator of the Seas, meaning that day will feature a double arrival, the only one in June, and June 27 will see the Carnival Panorama cruise ship depart. This is because June is low season for cruise travel.

In addition to these cruise ships, a U.S. Coast Guard ship is already in port and will remain there until Tuesday, June 6. Although the purpose of the Coast Guard’s visit to Puerto Vallarta has not been disclosed, it is typically for services. It’s important to note that Asipona forecasts 23,400 passenger arrivals for this month, compared to more than 18,200 for the same period last year.

94 international cruise ships carried more than 285 thousand passengers during the first four months of the year, exceeding the number of passengers carried during the same period in 2022, according to data from the National Port System Administration (Asipona) of Puerto Vallarta.
