Only the Carnival Panorama will dock in Vallarta in September

September 05, 2023

According to the National Port System Administration (Asipona) of Puerto Vallarta’s monthly calendar, there will only be four cruise ship arrivals in September, with the Carnival Panorama arriving every Tuesday.

The low season in the city continues, however it may be the last month with few arrivals, as this industry is predicted to resume in October; in the meantime, Puerto Vallarta continues to welcome these ships carrying over 4,000 passengers.

From January to July 2023, Puerto Vallarta had over 374 thousand passengers on 117 international cruise ships, compared to 99 ships and over 215 thousand visitors in the same time in 2022.

It is expected that 59 additional cruise ships will arrive in this destination throughout the rest of 2023, carrying an estimated total of more than 179 thousand passengers. This would give a total of 171 cruise ships with about 530 thousand passengers from January until the end of the year, with an expected economic revenue of around 722 million pesos.
