Passenger traffic increases during October at Vallarta’s airport

During October, the International Airport of Puerto Vallarta registered a traffic of 437,400 passengers, both domestic and foreign, being international tourism the one with the highest growth of 9.3% while domestic tourism had a decrease of 8.2% compared to the same period of 2022, according to the monthly report of the Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacifico (GAP).

This report indicates that last month the Puerto Vallarta airport precinct registered 212,300 passengers from the domestic market, while in 2022 there were 231,200; however, in the accumulated from January to October, the traffic of visitors is of more than 2,400,000,000, a growth of 10.8%.

As for the international market, during October passenger traffic was 225,100, while last year it was 205,800, totaling more than 3 million tourists who have passed through this air terminal during the first 10 months of the year, a growth of 10.6% compared to 2022.

Adding both markets, 437 thousand passengers travelled through the Puerto Vallarta Airport during the last month, only a 0.1% growth and already in the accumulated from January to October, almost 5 million 500 thousand tourists have been reached.
