The baking and pastry industries are at their sweetest. An expert claims that desserts, which often have a low production cost and are sold at a higher price, account for a significant portion of restaurants’ profits. Due to their extensive culinary offerings, Puerto Vallarta and the Riviera Nayarit have a great deal of potential in this market.

Hugo Velasco, commercial representative for the European firm Puratos, which provides solutions for the confectionery industry, believes Puerto Vallarta has a lot of business potential. The commercial sector is always changing here, therefore it is crucial to expand the number of domestic clients rather than relying solely on international travel.

The representative said that Mexican customers have improved and are willing to pay if the product is worthwhile. He added that Mexican customers want high-quality goods and to feel like they are getting a lot for their money.

He emphasized that the most crucial factor is that businesses stand out to their end clients with the things they offer.

“Continuous quality and creativity are crucial to providing unique things that cannot be found anywhere else.”
