Preparations for the Fiestas Guadalupanas program are complete. So far, 350 pilgrimages have been registered and the event will begin on November 30th with a grand march of the parish workers.

The official program does not begin until December 1, and this year there has been an increase in the participation of businesses and parishes in the area. Many of the latter are taking part after being reactivated following last year’s pandemic.

On December 8, the Guadalupe torch group will travel to Mexico City. After the 6:00 a.m. Mass, they will leave to arrive in Puerto Vallarta on December 11th at 7:30 p.m. at the Gate of Our Lady of Guadalupe church. The contingent of 60 runners will run for 84 hours, accompanied by the cameras of CPS Noticias.

On December 11, at 23:00, the Mañanitas to the Virgin of Guadalupe will begin with the participation of guest artists from the region. The next day, as is traditional, the pilgrimage of the favored, the largest one, will take place, beginning at 11 a.m. and lasting up to four hours.
