Puerto Vallarta among the Best Cities in the World 2023

Puerto Vallarta is the fourth best small city in the world, according to the prestigious Conde Nast Traveler. The magazine’s Readers’ Choice Awards, now in their 36th year, highlight the travel experiences that their readers are willing to deem outstanding, from hotels and airlines to cruises, islands, and luggage. All in all, there are 18 categories awarded. Puerto Vallarta appears in the best cities category.

According to the 2023 results, travelers prioritized smaller, more secluded destinations. Also, they went to places they had wanted to go but had left on hold. The Reader’s Choice Awards survey was responded by an unprecedented 526,518 travelers. They were the ones who put Puerto Vallarta in spot number four.

On their awards webpage, the publication mentions all the features Puerto Vallarta offers beyond the most popular attractions. It encourages travelers to explore off the beaten path to find hidden gems available for everybody but not so famous as the Malecon or the Marina.
